History:
Opened in 1910, the Jammz line originally was a National Rail line in part between Chiswick Airport and Jammz Town.
Converted to become a CHKU line in 1933, running from Turnham Green via the Auswick line and then the Jammz line to Jammz Town.
The line was extended via Bunny and White City Estate to Chiswick High Road in 1949.
Chiswick Capital opened in 1953, and the line was extended there, although the full station was completed in 1973 (formerly Rushden Park Junction).
In 1972, the line was extended from Bunny Park to Little Langmouth, as part of a mooted extension to Trident Port East.
In 1977, the line was extended from Jammz Town to Spineless
In 1986, a new branch line between Lewisham and Emerson Park was built to the new rubber tyred technology (Michelin).
In 1988, the line was extended to Trident Port East, with a view of an extension to Humus Quartus.
After Humus Quartus ceded from the United Counties, the extension over the border became a national affair, and construction finally started in 2007.
2012 saw the last extension on the southern branch, a short extension from Spineless to Hen Tie Gate.
The extension to Carlston/Udongein (now Udongein) opened in 2013
The line was extended further in Carlston from Udongein to Hammersmith Interchange in September 2016
The line between Lewisham and Emerson Park will be closed in stages to convert to conventional rail between 2021 and 2025
